How to Change Your Twitter Background to a Personal Picture

Twitter is a social website used to inform your friends and families of "What's happening." Twitter is a way to share what is going on in your everyday life using a tweet or a status. You can also customize your Twitter account so that others can easily find you and access your page on Twitter.

Instructions

1. Login to Twitter. Click on "Settings," then click on "Design."

2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on " Change Background Image."

3. Click "Browse" and select your photo.

4. Put a "Check" in the "Tile Background" box if you would like your background to be tiled. If not, leave it unchecked. Click ""Save Changes."

5. Click "Home" to view your homepage and to make sure your changes were saved.

Tips & Warnings

• Your background image must be smaller than 800k. JPG, PNG and GIF files are the only formats that can be uploaded.

• If you do not have a Twitter account, visit the website, and click on "Sign Up." You must have a valid email address to sign up for a Twitter account.
