How to Lower & Raise Your Weapons in 'Halo 3'

"Halo 3" is the third installment of the popular first-person shooter franchise, which originated on the original Xbox. "Halo 3" added several new features to the game, such as Forge mode, four-player co-op through Xbox Live and the ability to record videos of gameplay. A popular method for aesthetic purposes while recording a video is to lower your weapon. There is a specific button combination that allows you to lower your weapon without having to aim at your feet. It's also very simple to raise your weapon back to your shoulder once lowered.

Things You'll Need

• Xbox 360 console
• Xbox 360 controller
• "Halo 3" video game

Instructions

1. Boot up "Halo 3" in your Xbox 360.

2. Create a custom game from the main menu, selecting the map and any other specific options you'd like for the game. Start the game.

3. Hold down the "A" button, the right and left bumpers, and down on the D-pad while clicking on the left thumb stick on your Xbox 360 controller at the same time. This will lower your weapon.
