How to Use Cobra GPS 500

The global positioning system (GPS) is a radio navigation system based on satellite data. The Cobra GPS 500 receiver uses the time difference between the time of signal reception and the satellite broadcast time to compute the distance from the receiver to the satellite. Using that information, gathered from a number of satellites, the GPS receiver can work out its own position, determining latitude, longitude and altitude. Using a GPS receiver is easy.
