How to Update the ATI Graphics Driver After a Windows 7 Upgrade
If you've just upgraded your PC to Windows 7, you may be getting an error message about the ATI graphics driver. However, you can resolve the issue in a few steps.

Navigate to the AMD site (ati.amd.com/products/catalystcontrolcenter/index.html).

Click the "Support & Drivers" menu. The AMD Support & Drivers page appears.

Under the Top AMD Support Articles section, click on the "Catalyst APG Hot fix" link. The AMD Catalyst Hotfix page will appear.

Click on your operating system type. Make sure you select the right version of your Windows program, 32-bit or 64-bit. If you do not know which version of Windows is installed in your computer, navigate to the "Start" button, right-click on "Computer" and click on "Properties." Under System, your version of Windows will appear.

Save the installation application to an easy-to-remember location. Then follow the on-screen instructions to install the driver fix.

Tips & Warnings
You'll need a minimum of 140MB available hard drive space to install the driver fix.
If you have any doubts at all about install certain software programs, get a professional, or someone who is more experienced with PC's.
