How to Make Corn on the Cob
There are several ways in which you can prepare corn on the cob, including boiling and grilling it. Corn on the cob is an ideal side dish to barbecue foods like ribs and chicken. Things You'll Need
- 1 large pot and pot top
- 4 corn on the cobs
- 4 tbsp. butter
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of pepper
- Grill
- Bowl
- Charcoal
- Lighter
- Charcoal lighter fluid

Boiling Corn on the Cob

Fill the pot halfway with water. Let it boil on medium-high heat.

Shuck the corn. Wash the ears to remove any other silks that may remain. Place the cobs into the boiling water. Cover the pot and boil for about 20 minutes.

Remove the corn from the water. Smooth on the butter. Add a pinch of salt and pepper for taste.
Grilling Corn on the Cob

Wash the unshucked ears of corn in water.

Fill the bowl halfway with water. Soak the corn in the water for about 15 minutes.

Add the charcoal to the grill. Pour charcoal lighter fluid onto the charcoal and light it.

Place the corn onto the grill grate. Close the grill and cook the corn for about 15 minutes.

Remove the ears from the grill. Serve it with butter.
