How to Fix Italics in Adobe InDesign
While Adobe InDesign is an in-demand program for layout and design, anything created in the program will probably feature some text along with pictures or graphics. If you don't have a text editing program that works in conjunction with InDesign, most of your text will be imported via copy and paste. Unfortunately, some text formatting will be lost during the copy and paste process, but can be updated once your text is placed in your InDesign document.
