How to Install Icon Sets for a Mac OS X
Mac OS X comes with a matching set of basic icons. Icons are the images that appear with an application, folder or file. For those who want something beyond the basic icon set in OS X, there are third-party applications that offer the ability to customize and install a wide variety of icon sets. Applications like Candybar work easily with Macintosh computers, and allow users to install new icon sets that change the appearance of the Finder and the Dock.
