How to Make Cappuccino With Old Coffee
Cappuccino is generally sold as a gourmet coffee drink, but it does not actually contain any special ingredients. The drink is a basic mixture of coffee and milk that is agitated until it become foamy. You may think you need a fancy cappuccino maker or high priced coffee to make your own at home, but any brewed coffee will suffice. The main criteria for cappuccino is using the correct milk to coffee ratio--if you use too much milk, the drink becomes a more mild tasting drink known as a latte.

1
Pour old prepared coffee into a small saucepan on your stovetop--use 1/2 cup of old coffee for each serving of cappuccino. Set the heat to "medium" and heat the coffee until it is warmed through.
-
2
Add 1/2 cup of granulated sugar into a second small saucepan. Stir in 3 to 4 tbsp. of water (enough to thoroughly coat the sugar) and set the heat to "medium." Warm the sugar and water for approximately five minutes or until it forms a syrup with no remaining sugar crystals.
-
3
Transfer the warmed coffee into your blender, along with about 1 tbsp. of the syrup per each serving of cappuccino you're making. Put any leftover syrup into an airtight container and keep in your refrigerator for up to one month.
-
4
Pour 1/4 cup of milk into a saucepan for each serving of cappuccino you're making. Turn the stove to "medium" and heat the milk until it is just warmed through. Add the warmed milk into the blender with the coffee and sweetened syrup.

Secure the blender lid tightly. Blend the ingredients just until they are completely combined, then pour the cappuccino into coffee mugs and serve.

Tips & Warnings
If you don't want to heat up the old coffee and milk, use chilled versions and serve the drink on ice for an iced cappuccino.
Leave out the syrup if you want a stronger drink.
Never use high heat to warm up the milk for your cappuccino or you could make it curdle.
