How to Download Songs to "Band Hero"

Like other "Guitar Hero" games, most versions of "Band Hero" allow you to download additional songs and song packs for use in the game. Songs and packs both cost "points" in the digital currency of whichever console you're playing the game on -- Xbox Live Points on the Xbox; Wii Points on the Wii; and PlayStation Wallet money on the PlayStation 3. To buy songs in "Band Hero," you'll first have to purchase the appropriate form of points. Note that the Nintendo DS version of Band Hero has no downloadable content.

Turn on your console. Ensure that you are connected to the Internet using the appropriate option in the console's main menu: on an Xbox, sign into Xbox Live; on a PS3, sign into PlayStation Network; on the Wii, click the "Wii" button, then "Wii Settings," then "Internet" to set up your Internet connection if you haven't already done so.

Make sure that there are points in the account you will be using to download songs; add money if necessary (see Resources). On the Xbox or PS3 websites, you can click "Sign In" to sign into your account and add money; on the Wii website you will find step-by-step instructions for purchasing Wii Points.

Boot up the "Band Hero" game and select "Shop" in the main menu. Browse to and select the song pack or individual song you want to download.
