Draw over the permanent marker with the dry erase marker. Don't just try to draw a single line over it--scribble over the permanent marker line so that you are sure that it is fully covered.

Use the dry erase eraser to wipe the spot. It will not only pick up the dry erase marker, but the permanent marker as well.

Repeat if necessary. Sometimes, you will not get all of the permanent marker off the first time. Simply repeat the steps until the marker is gone.
