  • 4 garlic bulbs, peeled, separated into cloves
  • Food processor
  • Wire colander
  • Cheesecloth
  • Bowl
  • Ice cube tray
  • Resealable plastic freezer bag

      Puree the garlic cloves in a food processor. Push the garlic puree through a wire colander lined with cheesecloth into a bowl to separate the solids and make one cup of fresh garlic juice.

      Evenly divide the garlic juice into the wells of an ice cube tray, filling each well with one tbsp. of garlic juice.

      Freeze the garlic juice for three to four hours or until solid.

      Transfer the garlic juice ice cubes into a plastic freezer bag.

  • Lay bulbs of garlic on a surface and smash them with a heavy baking pan to loosen the skins for easier peeling.
