Go to maps.google.com and click "My Maps" to create a customized Google Map. You can quickly make a map by typing an address in the Search Address bar at the top of the screen. To make a map showing driving instructions, click "Get Directions" and enter the start and ending addresses. Google will generate the map on the screen.

Enter a name in the "Title" field, a description in the "Description" field and click "Public" if you'd like to make the map accessible to everyone on the Internet.

Click "Done" then "Save" to save your map.

On the My Maps screen, open your saved map and click "Link" on the top right side of the window. A drop-down window will appear with HTML code that can be used to include the map in an email or to embed the map in a website.

In the "Paste HTML to embed in website" field, select the HTML code and copy it.

Open the HTML page in your web editing software. Paste the map code in your HTML file. Make sure that you insert the map code in the place that you want the map to appear on the page.

Save the HTML file and upload the file to your web server.

Open the HTML file in your web browser and view the page. Your map will be integrated into your web page. Visitors to your site can now view your map to quickly find a location.

Tips & Warnings
On the My Maps screen, you can make a more detailed map by entering multiple addresses. For example, in a map showing a walking tour for a city, each stop will be identified by a push pin.
You must have a user account with Google to save a customized map. To create a Google Account go to www.google.com/accounts/NewAccount. Enter an email address, a password, your location and agree to Google's legal terms. Then click "I Accept. Create my Account." Google will immediately set up an account for you.
