How to Download Music to Real Player 11 Basic

Like iTunes and Windows Media Player, Real Player is a media player that can play CDs, mp3s and videos. While Real Player emphasizes video, it has a powerful set of audio applications, including a 10-band equalizer and the ability to record and convert vinyl and cassette into digital formats. Real Player 11 also supports 5.1 surround sound audio and the AAC codec, the common file type for iTunes.

Instructions

1. Download and install Real Player 11 to your computer if necessary. There is a link in the Resources section. Open the program after installation completes.

2. Click the Music tab.

3. Browse for music or do a targeted search for the music you want to download by typing in the name of the artist or song you want in the Rhapsody Music toolbar.

4. Find the song you want to download and click "Add to Cart."

5. Keep browsing for music and add more tracks, or click "Go to Checkout," then "Checkout Now."

6. Enter a username and password when requested, and add a credit card when prompted. Finish purchasing your music; your download will start automatically.

Tips & Warnings

• You can change the location where Real Player saves files by clicking Tools, Preferences, then "Download & Recording."
