  1. Creating a Zombie Face

    • 1

Mix 1 cup of corn syrup, 20 drops of red food coloring and 2 tablespoons of chocolate syrup to create fake blood. You will be using this extensively at the end of the makeup process. Set aside for the moment.

Apply a base makeup color of gray, green or white, or a blend of these. Use your hands or a small paint or makeup brush to apply all makeup. Don't be afraid to smear it on. The entire face and neck should be covered with this base coat. Add some swipes of blue or yellow if desired.

Apply some accents to the face using darker-and-brighter-toned colors. Smear dark gray or black under the eyes and lining the cheek bones. To help find the best areas to highlight, shine a flashlight downward into your face and note the shadows. Duplicate the shadows using makeup accent colors.

Add injuries and ghastly gashes. Use green, red and purple face paint to simulate open wounds. Use the homemade blood mixture liberally on the face, neck and any exposed skin. Add green and yellow paint to simulate oozing puss.
