How to Access the USB in the Playstation 2
The USB (Universal Serial Bus) ports can be found at the front of the Sony PlayStation 2. The ports are used for a variety of different accessories compatible with the PlayStation 2 system. Such accessories include the EyeToy, guitar controller, headset mic, mouse and keyboard.

The USB is found on the front of the PlayStation 2. Every PS2 has two USB ports that can be used for accessessories.

Use a USB headset on your PlayStation 2. Find the USB plug at the end of the headset wire, look for one of two USB ports on the Playstation 2, and plug it in. The USB plug should have a rectangle shape with a metal part sticking out the end. The metal part is what is plugged into the Playstation 2. Once plugged in, the USB headset should have a red or green light on.

Purchase an adapter if you can't find the USB ports in the front. Some versions of the PS2 don't have USB ports. Don't worry though because you can purchase a USB adapter for your console that will plug into a controller port.

Tips & Warnings
Make sure the device or accessory you're plugging into your Playstation 2 is USB compatible.
The USB port is just like an electrical outlet, do not get water in or near the ports as it can be harmful to you and others around.
