How to Eliminate Spam from Outlook Express
Outlook Express is the default email client program included with many versions of Windows. It is similar in many ways to Outlook, Microsoft's full-featured email client, but is missing certain professional features such as a spam filter. However, this feature can be added with the use of third-party software. Eliminate spam in Outlook Express with SPAMfighter, a free program for home use.

Browse to the SPAMfighter website using the link in the Resources section of this article. Click the "Download SPAMfighter" button to download the program.

Click the "Start Download Now" button, and save the file to the location of your choice.

Close all instances of Outlook Express and launch "spamfighter_web.exe" to begin installing SPAMfighter.

Select your local language, then click "OK."

Examine the license terms for SPAMfighter. If you agree to the terms, click "I accept" and click "Next."

Enter your email address, and select a password for your SPAMfighter account. Click "Next," then click "Install." Click "Finish" when the installation is complete. The SPAMfighter icon will appear in the system tray.

Launch Outlook Express. When the program loads, a new "SPAMfighter" folder will be present on the left side of the screen. Spam messages will be moved to this folder automatically.
