How to Clean Grease From Suede
A great addition to your home is a beautiful piece of suede furniture. Suede is a soft material that is more comfortable and fashionable that leather. The soft suede fabric can easily become stained, however, especially from grease. Don't worry, though; you won't have to throw away your suede furniture if it gets stained. Things You'll Need
- Suede eraser or pencil eraser
- Degreaser
- Paper towels
- Suede brush
- Suede protector

Rub the suede eraser or pencil eraser against the stain. This will help remove any dried parts of the stain and help lift the suede material up for cleaning.

Spray a small amount of degreaser directly onto the grease stain. Dab the degreaser into the grease stain with clean paper towels until the stain is gone.

Scrub the stain and the areas around the stain with the course side of the suede brush, using a circular motion. Flip the suede brush and gently brush the old stain area with the soft-bristled side of the suede brush.

Spray suede protector over the entire previously stained area. Apply a thin coat of suede protector and allow it to dry for four to six hours.
