How to Move the Recycle Bin to My Computer

Customizing your Windows installation to your own personal specifications is important to streamline your ability to efficiently multitask while computing. One possible customization that needs be considered is the positioning of the Recycle Bin. While many prefer to have the Recycle Bin located on the desktop, you might prefer to have it appear within the "My Computer" menu. Either is fine, and both are possible under the Windows environment.

    • 3

Right click within the right panel and select the "New" option, then the "Key" option.

    • 4

Set the key to the following value: "645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E".

    • 5
