How to Convert MP3 Files to Audiobook Format
Audiobooks were first released as cassette tapes. Since then, however, audiobooks have been developed digitally. One distinguishing feature of digital audiobooks is the ability to slow down or speed up the pace of reading. This, of course, cannot be done with a traditional MP3 file. Audiobook files have the extension M4B and can be slowed down or sped up. You can convert MP3 files to M4B files with a third-party freeware application.
