Open the BlackBerry Browser to type a web address. Click "Go To" on your BlackBerry for a web address field. Go to the Vuclip site to download the application to your BlackBerry. You'll need to download and install Vuclip to be able to watch YouTube videos without getting error messages on your BlackBerry.

    • 2

      Press the trackball.

    • 3

Start the application for the Vuclip installation. A link is opened on the BlackBerry phone. Click on that link to open the Vuclip application.

    • 4

Check the prompt to allow "Browser Invoking." At the prompt check "Yes" to allow the Vuclip application to invoke your web browser.

    • 6

Use the trackball to scroll the pointer through the search results to the hyperlink below a video screenshot and choose that option.

    • 7

When the next screen pops up, you'll find several video-playing options: Play; Play Hi-Res for Hi resolution display; and Preview for a short preview clip. Click on Play Hi-Res if you want the best picture quality. It does tend to slow down the Internet speed, though.

    • 8

You can either "Open" or "Save" the video on your device. If you click on Open, it will download the video in temporary memory and play it.

    • 9

Download the Video. The video can now be downloaded for use. Download speed depends on the file size of the video and your Internet connection speed.

    • 10

The application will automatically play the video in full-screen mode.

Tips & Warnings

  • Wi-Fi or EDGE increases download speed.

  • You can visit the Vuclip link directly to watch videos without downloading the application.

  • You can download and save videos to your phone's memory card if you have a memory card with enough capacity.

  • There may be several browsers appearing on your BlackBerry. Contact your wireless service provider before using them because there can be varying charges associated with their use.
