How to List an Item Without PayPal
EBay raised some eyebrows when the company began forcing all sellers to add PayPal as a payment option to their auctions and not letting anyone list an auction unless they had a PayPal account. The company responded to complaints from buyers and sellers by adding Paymate as a possible payment option. You'll need a Paymate account if you want to sell on eBay without PayPal.

Visit the Paymate website and read the terms of service associated with using the website. EBay requires that sellers have a 98% positive feedback rating and have at least 10 positive feedback scores within the last six months to use Paymate as a payment method.

Register for a Paymate account. Paymate is only open to those at least 18 years old, and requires your name, address, phone number and email address. You must set up a unique user name and password for use with the website.

Log into your Paymate account once you sign up and finish the registration process. Attach your eBay user name to your Paymate account. This lets you accept payments through eBay, but only after you connect both accounts on eBay as well.

Sign into your eBay account and select the payment information from the "My eBay" page. This lets you add Paymate as one of the payment methods you accept from bidders when you sell items through eBay. Add the user name you set up with Paymate to your account.

List Paymate as your preferred method of payment on future auctions. When you list an item, select Paymate as a method of payment in the payment section. EBay lets you select several types of payments including checks and money orders, but be careful not to select PayPal.

Tips & Warnings
EBay also gives sellers the option of accepting payments through Moneybrokers. If you have a Moneybrokers account, you must attach your eBay account information to it. Then add your Moneybrokers information to your eBay account.
If you use Paymate instead of PayPal, you may notice a decrease in your sales. Many users still have PayPal accounts, while Paymate is relatively unknown.
