How to Create a Website Slideshow From JPG's
Slideshows are a great way to showcase photos. Cameras and even most cell phones save photos as JPG files, also known as JPEG. So it's easy to set up a web slideshow using photos you already have. All you need to do is upload your photos to get started. If you use a photo sharing website like flickr, you're already halfway there.

Choose a slideshow builder. To make your web slideshow, you'll need to use a builder. Just about every photo sharing website has a built-in web slideshow builder (sometimes called a badge or widget builder). There are also free websites that will import your JPGs and create a slideshow for you.

Upload your JPG files. Depending on the builder, you may be able to upload several at once. Most photo sharing sites will take any or all of your shared photos and create a custom slideshow. Other websites may require you to upload one file at a time from your computer.

Customize your slideshow. You can usually adjust the size of your slideshow, the background color and font color. Some builders, like Slide, also let you add music, design themes or a guestbook.

Embed your code. Depending on which slideshow builder you used, you may end up with a chunk of web code to paste into your website. Instructions on how to embed the code are clearly explained once your slideshow is finished.

Tips & Warnings
Most slideshow builders will automatically resize your photos when you upload them. If you want to upload smaller JPG files, reduce the file size in Photoshop or another graphics program before you upload them.
Digital cameras higher than 6.0 megapixels produce large JPG files. It can take several minutes to upload these large files, depending on the speed of your Internet connection. Check your slideshow builder to find out if there's a maximum JPG file size allowance.
