1
Measure the length to cut your wood cut by placing your club onto the wood and drawing a rectangle around it. Leave 2-inches extra space on the top, 4-inches extra on the bottom and 2-inches extra on the ends. Cut out the rectangle using your saw.
-
2
Cut two 1-inch by 3-inch pieces out of the spare wood. Use the jigsaw to cut a half circle in the 3-inch length of the wood for each piece for the club to lay in. These two pieces will hold the club horizontally away from the display but still relatively close to the display. It will basically look like someone took a bite out of the length of your support pieces.

3
Cut a 1-inch square piece out of the spare wood. Drill an extremely shallow hole on the face of the 1-inch piece. The golf ball will sit on the hole you drill, so it doesn't have to be deeper than a few millimeters, and you'll want to use a big drill bit with a flat head.
-
4
Screw the club support pieces that you made in Step 2 into the wood piece that you cut out in Step 1. Screw from the back of the display forward, so the screws go into the support pieces and the screws don't show.
-
5
Screw the 1-inch square piece a few inches below the right side of the club support piece, screwing from the back of the display forward.
-
6
Stain the display to a color of your liking. When you buy a stain, there will be directions to follow on the can on how to do it properly. Generally speaking you'll want to take a clean rag and wipe an even amount across the entirety of the wood.
-
7
Trace and using the jigsaw cut out two identical pieces of Plexiglas that cover the scorecard from your golf moment day.
-
8
Using the epoxy, glue one piece of Plexiglas to the display. Add your scorecard, then cover with the other piece of Plexiglas. Finally, screw four small screws in the corners of the Plexiglas to hold it together. Note that Plexiglas can crack easily when drilled, so drill slowly and carefully.
-
9
The ball you used will sit on the 1-inch square piece of wood, and the shallow hole you drilled will give you just enough space to put more epoxy in and give the ball a place to rest. Finally, add the club to the support pieces.

Tips & Warnings
You don't have to include the scorecard if the rest of the day wasn't as memorable, or if the ball was lost on future holes it doesn't have to be included either. When you stain your display, a fun way to remember the course is staining the color of a tree that is native to the course or the hole that your moment was on, like Oak or Cherry.
