Increasing the font size of your messages in Microsoft Outlook will not only help you to see what you are typing, but will also allow your email recipients to read the text in your messages more easily.
To increase the font size in Microsoft Outlook you must use change the font options from within the "Tools" menu. This will permanently change the font size settings for all of your messages.
Click "Start," then "All Programs." Click "Microsoft Outlook."
Click "Tools" from the menu bar, then click "Options." Click the "Mail Format" tab, then click the "Fonts" or "Stationery and Fonts" button.
Click "Choose Font." The highlighted item underneath the "Size" menu will display the current size of your font. Scroll through the list of font sizes until you find one you like, then click "OK."
Tips & Warnings
- To change the font of a specific text within a message, highlight the text, then click a larger font size from the font size drop-down menu.
- To enlarge font sizes throughout the entire program, you must change the "Display" settings in the Windows "Control Panel."
