Navigate to a website that allows you to create your own ringtones for free (see Resources) and select the option to create your own ringtone.

Upload the music file from which you wish to create a ringtone for your TracFone. Click "Upload" to select your music file from your computer's hard drive.

Click on the image of your music file to set the markers at the beginning and ending points of the clip you wish to be your ringtone.

Click "Create Ringtone" when you are satisfied with your clip, and then input your cell phone number into the provided text box to have the ringtone sent to your TracFone in a text message.

Open the text message on your TracFone when you receive it, and click "Options" and then "Save as Ringtone" to save the ringtone to your TracFone.

Tips & Warnings
Some websites offer the option to adjust the volume level and fade properties for the clip, although the default level is usually optimal.
Beware of making your ringtone too long, as it could bog down your TracFone's memory. Generally, your ringtone should not exceed 30 seconds.
