How to Save Videos on a Blackberry Curve Phone

Later models of the BlackBerry Curve allow you to record and save a video files. Much like the process of taking a picture file on a BlackBerry Curve, your phone will automatically save any video file you record with it. However, the memory space limitations of your BlackBerry Curve mean that your video files will be automatically be saved to the microSd card.

      Install the microSD card in your BlackBerry Curve. Remove the battery cover and battery from the back of your BlackBerry Curve. Slide the microSD card holder into the unlock position.

      Open the latch. Place the microSD card so that the gold contacts are face-down and aligned with the pins in the BlackBerry Curve. Slide the card into place and push the latch back down. Slide the holder into the lock position. Replace the battery and battery cover.

      Turn on your BlackBerry Curve and open the "Media" application on the applications page. Select "Videos" from the menu.

      Select "Video Camera." Aim your BlackBerry Curve and press "Record" to begin recording a video. Stop recording the video by clicking the trackball to pause and then click "Stop." Wait for the progress bar to indicate that your video file has finished saving. Your video file will automatically save to the microSD card unless you choose to delete it.
