1
Make the dough. Pizza dough is a yeast bread with olive oil added for tenderness. You can use any recipe you like for hand-tossed pizza.
-
2
Flour a work surface, and pat dough into a 10-inch circle. Use enough flour to keep it from sticking to your hands and the work surface. The dough should be smooth and elastic.

3
Put your hands about 6 inches apart in front of you. Your dominate hand is palm up and the other is a fist. Put the circle of dough on your hands.
-
4
Keep the fingers of your dominant hand together and bring it across your body. In one smooth movement, go back to the starting position, tossing the dough into the air. Make a fist with your dominant hand and catch the dough on top of both hands.
-
5
Keep tossing the pizza dough until it is the size you want. As the circle of dough gets bigger, move your hands farther apart so you are catching it near the edges rather than in the center.

6
Place the crust on a work surface, pizza stone or pan and add toppings. Bake according to the recipe instructions.
