How to Upgrade to MSN Hotmail Plus

Upgrading from Hotmail to Windows Live Hotmail Plus (formerly known as MSN Hotmail Plus) is easy to do. Not only will you gain more storage for your emails and be able to send files with larger attachments, but you'll be able to forward emails to other accounts will no longer have to deal with account-expiration warnings and graphical ads. The upgrade to Hotmail Plus is $19.95 per year.

      Use your web browser to navigate to www.gowindowslive.com/hotmailplus.

      Click on the "Upgrade Now' button link on the right-hand side of the page.

      Sign in to your account with your Windows Live ID, which is also your MSN Hotmail, MSN Messenger, or Windows Live account.

      Review the order on the confirmation page.

      Click confirm to upgrade to Windows Live Hotmail Plus for $19.95 per year.

Tips & Warnings
