How Do You Tie a Chef's Necktie?
Unlike traditional neckties worn by businessmen, chefs have a neckerchief that is tied in an entirely different way. Place the neckerchief around your neck with the ends evenly aligned in the front of your chest.

Hold each end of the tie and pull straight forward. Wrap the right end of the tie over the left side and wrap it back underneath to the left.

Hold the wrapped piece with one hand and pass the right side through the opening created by the wrap.

Pull down both ends at the same time to tighten loosely up to your neck. Repeat Step 2, but with the left end wrapping around the right, and hold in place.

Hold the wrap and then pull the tie through the opening of the wrap. Pull to cinch the knot up to the neck. Both ends of the tie should hang evenly.
