How to Use Abercrombie Scarves

Abercrombie scarves can sometimes be difficult to wear. Some scarves are odd shaped, while others are incredibly long. Knowing how to wear your scarf correctly is a necessity. Wash and dry your Abercrombie scarf before use. Some scarves will do fine in the washing machine, while others may need to be dry cleaned. It all depends on the material of your scarf. Wool and wool blends will certainly need to be dry cleaned. Other materials like cotton or linen can handle the gentle cycle on your washing machine; however, you may want to air dry the scarf to prevent heat damage. If you are in doubt, check the tag sewn onto your scarf for cleaning instructions.

Remove any wrinkles from your scarf by using an iron. Use a low heat setting and gently press and glide the iron over the scarf. Wearing a wrinkled scarf creates a messy look, and wearing an ironed scarf creates a fresh, neat appearance.

Wrap your scarf around your neck with the ends pulled out behind you. The center of the scarf should rest on your throat. Cross the ends behind you, and bring both ends back to the front to drape over the front of your shoulders. If your scarf is extra long, wrap it around again, exactly as you did before. If it is still too long for your taste, take each end of the scarf and tie a large knot in it to shorten the scarf.

Fold a square shaped scarf in half to create a triangle. Place the triangle over your chest, with the triangle point slightly to the right or left, whichever your prefer. Wrap the ends of the scarf around the back of your neck and bring them back to the front. Tie a large knot on the side of your neck, opposite from the side of the triangle tip. Allow your scarf ends to drape down over your shoulders.
