How to Rename Folders in Outlook Express

In Outlook Express, saved email messages are stored using a system of folders, much like the files on your computer. After creating and naming your message storage folders, however, you may find that you would like to change your system of organization and give your folders different names. Rename your message folders in Outlook Express to accomplish this goal.

Instructions

1. Launch Outlook Express and right-click a folder on the list of local folders.

2. Click "Rename."

3. Click in the "Folder Name" box and type a new name for the folder.

4. Click "OK." The change takes effect immediately.
