How to Take Screenshots of Videos Online

You can capture a screenshot of any video online pretty easily. You can get the screenshot by using a simple function on your keyboard. Once you capture the shot, you can even edit it in your favorite photo-editing program. The hardest part is pausing the video on the exact frame you want to capture. Once you do that, the rest is easy.

Instructions

1. Go online and find the video you want to get a screenshot of. Make sure the video is centered on the Web page.

2. Play through the video and pause it on the frame you want to capture. This may take a few attempts.

3. Press the "print screen" button on your computer's keyboard. This button is located to the right of the F12 button and is usually labeled "prt sc."

4. Open up your photo editor and start a new project. Press and hold Ctrl+V to paste the screenshot into your photo editor.

5. Save your image to a folder or the desktop of your computer. The "print screen" function will capture the entire page you are looking at. If you want to save only the video screenshot, you can crop the photo to cut out the surrounding image.
