In order to get the most out of your Zen's battery, be sure to charge it correctly. This can be done by way of your computer or an electric outlet.

Things You'll Need

• USB cord
• Creative Zen V Plus power adapter

Instructions

1. Connect the small end of the USB cable that came with your Zen V Plus to the mini USB port on the device.

2. Connect the standard USB end of the USB cable to a USB port on your computer.

3. Allow the Zen V Plus to charge for six hours if this is your first time charging it.

4. If you do not have access to a computer, connect your Zen V Plus to a Zen power adapter and plug the adapter into an outlet.

Tips & Warnings

• The Zen V Plus will charge even if its power is off. However, if you are using a computer to charge, make sure that the computer is on or you will not be charging your Zen V Plus.

• When the device is fully charged, the screen will show an electric plug icon.

• Do not plug a Zen V Plus into a USB hub.
