How to Delete Outlook Express Emails Without Opening it

With Outlook Express, you can configure multiple email accounts and send or receive emails quickly and easily using one application. Outlook also enables you to remove email messages that you do not want or do not intent to read. This is especially helpful for removing spam and unwanted advertisement emails. Removing these unnecessary emails and the clutter they bring also makes your email easier to organize.

      Click the Windows "Start" menu and click "Outlook Express" to launch the email application.

      Click the "Inbox" on the left panel under "Folders." You should see a list of the new and old messages on the right panel.

      Right-click the unread message you want to remove and click "Delete." The message is stored in the "Deleted items" folder located on the left panel under "Folders." If you want to select multiple unread emails, press and hold the "CTRL" key and click each email you want to delete. Right-click the selection and click "Delete."

      Right-click the "Deleted items" folder on the left panel and click "Empty Deleted Items Folder."
