How to Store an Unbaked Apple Pie

  • Aluminum foil

      Cover the unbaked pie with aluminum foil.

      Place the covered pie into a zip top gallon sized bag and seal.

      Store the unbaked pie in the refrigerator for up to two days, or freeze at 0 degrees F for up to four months.

      Heat the oven to 400 degrees F for 20 minutes to preheat.

      Remove the apple pie from the refrigerator or freezer. Pull it out of the bag and take off the aluminum foil. Cut several slits in the top crust of the pie.

      Bake the frozen pie for 50 to 60 minutes at 400 degrees F or until golden brown and piping hot.
