Stack three players along the outside of the key in line with the inbounder, each behind the other.

  3. Step 3

Place the fourth on-court player in the wing, on the same side of the key as the inbounder.

  4. Step 4

Inbounder taps the ball to signal start of play.

  5. Step 5

Send the wing player cutting inside beneath the hoop, moving behind the third player and tapping his or her shoulder on the way.

  6. Step 6

Send the third player on the tap, stepping to the outside for a pass.

  7. Step 7

Drop the first player back inside and have him or her rush to the top of the key.

  8. Step 8

    Keep the second player stationary.

  9. Step 9

Have the ball handler fake to the player at the hoop, and then inbound to either the second or third player.

Tips & Warnings
  • If the first two choices are covered well, inbound deep to the top of the key and set a play.
  • The inbounder - probably your point guard - should have excellent passing skills. Put your tallest players out on the court.
  • The hoop man will be guarded well. Passing to this player would mean a likely turnover.
  • If you have any condition that could impair or limit your ability to engage in physical activity, please consult a physician before attempting this activity. This information is not intended as a substitute for professional medical advice or treatment.
