How to Remove Yellow Street Paint
Oil-based street paint is made to last. Once it's applied to a surface, it can be difficult to remove. But it's not impossible if you know the proper techniques. Since paint doesn't bond especially well to concrete, it's possible to use friction techniques to loosen the paint and remove it completely. Direct concentrated water pressure at the yellow street paint using a pressure washer.

Scrape the paint from the street using a wire brush. Scrape in a circular, counterclockwise motion.

Sand away any remaining paint using sandpaper.

Rinse the area with the pressure washer.

Apply mineral spirits to any remaining paint. Repeat steps 1 through 3 if paint remains.

Tips & Warnings
Pressure washers are powerful and can easily tear a chunk from the street. Always begin on a low setting, then gradually increase pressure. Work slowly and carefully to avoid damaging the surface.
