How to Sign Up for a CCNA Test
Cisco Systems offers different levels of Information Technology (IT) certification for IT techs in many companies. The Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification indicates an apprentice-level knowledge of networking. It verifies the ability to install, operate and maintain medium-sized networks. Cisco teams with Pearson Vue, their authorized testing partner, to administer all of their certification exams. In order to take the CCNA, you must register for and take the exam through Pearson Vue.

Go to the Pearson Vue website's Cisco Testing page to find the links to three options for registering for the test: online, by telephone or through a test center.

Decide which method you would like to use and click on the appropriate link.

Click on the "Schedule Online" link to register for the exam online.

Log in to your online account with your username and password. If you do not have an account, you can create one by clicking on the "Create a web account" link and following the prompts.

Schedule your exam appointment by entering the exam you wish to take, your choice of test center and the date and time for the exam.

Pay any testing fees online using your credit card.

Receive confirmation for your exam appointment.

Click on the "Schedule By Phone" button if you prefer this method of registration.

Select the region of the world where you live from the list provided under "Customer Service" to find the appropriate telephone number.

Call this phone number to schedule your exam. If you live in the United States or Canada, register by calling toll free (877) 404-3926 Monday through Friday between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Central Time (CT).

Click on the "Schedule Through a Test Center" button if you prefer to register for the test in person. You may use your country and address to search for the nearest testing center. Use this option only if you are willing to travel the distance necessary to reach the testing center.

Tips & Warnings
Although you may register for the test in advance, you can also register on the day the test is given if space is available.
Tests are administered worldwide.
Confirmation of your registration and the policies regarding cancellation of this registration will be sent to you via email.
