How to Clean Rust on Stainless Steel Knives

Stainless steel is thought by many to be stainless but it's not. Rust can appear on occasion, especially on knives and other stainless items that come in contact with food. It is the acids in food that is facilitating the corrosion. Once you have removed the rust, take care to avoid it from happening again by always rinsing your knives of all food, even before putting them in the dishwasher.
