How to Create an Avatar Mod for Full Tilt Poker
Full Tilt Poker, an Internet poker gaming site, allows you to customize your avatar two different ways. A few seconds after logging onto Full Tilt, you can easily select from a list of default avatars and play poker as a policeman, an old lady or even an ATM machine. If you want to further customize your avatar, you can put your actual photo--or any other image--onto Full Tilt Poker.

Choosing a Default Avatar

Most Full Tilt Poker players use an avatar from the site's default list. Simply log onto Full Tilt, pull down the "Account" menu, and click on "Change Avatar." Choose one of 73 characters and begin playing poker in seconds.

To create your own avatar, open the Full Tilt Poker program folder on your computer's hard drive and click the Graphics folder, then the Table folder, then the Avatar folder and then the Public folder.

Cut and paste an avatar folder and move it to a different spot, such as your computer's desktop. Save your image as a .png file to be used as the custom avatar in the folder.

Copy the images and paste them in the Full Tilt Poker avatar folder. Name them as 0.png , 1.png, 2.png and 3.png so you will be able to change your avatar's emotions to happy, sad, angry or frustrated. The game allows users to change emotions between these four faces, and custom avatars must be saved in four versions.

Once you've saved the photos in the folder on the desktop, pull the folder back into the Full Tilt Poker Avatar folder on the computer's hard drive.

Open Full Tilt Poker and go to "Change Avatar." Find your personalized avatar and save the changes.

You are now ready to play poker with your own personalized avatar.

Follow the same steps listed above to change your Mod, or background. Instead of clicking the Avatar folder in the Full Tilt program folder, click the Backgrounds folder. Follow the same sequence to select a new background once it is saved.

Tips & Warnings
Many custom avatars and backgrounds are available to download for a small price or for free on the Internet.
Custom avatars or backgrounds are only seen by the player. The other players at the table will see the default character sitting at the table with the default background.
Users uploading their own images may have to try a number of different sized of photos to get the custom avatar to appear correctly within the game. Users may want to utilize a program such as Photoshop.
