Instructions

    • 1

Cut off the bottom flaps of your refrigerator box, and tape the top flaps together so that they lie flat.

    • 2

Cut out a door and some windows from the refrigerator box so that the box looks like a small house. You could try arched doorways and circular windows for a unique twist.

    • 3

Coat the playhouse in two thin coats of primer, allowing each coat to dry thoroughly before applying the next.

    • 4

Paint the entire playhouse pink. You will need two or three thin coats of the paint in order to get the coverage you are looking for. Do not apply thick coats, as this may cause the cardboard to lose its shape.

    • 5

Attach flower decals to the outside of the playhouse. Try using them as a border for doors and windows on the outside of the house.

    • 6

Spray the completed playhouse with acrylic sealant spray in a well-ventilated area. Two thin coats should do the trick and add durability to your daughter's playhouse.

    • 7

Set the playhouse in its permanent location, and spread the pink bathroom rug and purple pillows on the inside of the playhouse. Adding a few of your daughter's favorite toys can help the space to feel like home to her right away.
