How to Remove Security From a Blackberry
BlackBerry cell phones have security options on the phones to protect your private information if your phone is lost or stolen. Also, the security settings can protect your phone from viruses. Viruses on BlackBerry phones are rare occurrences, but they can happen. If you feel like you will not have any issues with protection using the Internet on the phone, and if you feel like you will never misplace the phone, there is a way to disable the security on the phone.

Press the BlackBerry button to open the full list of applications.

Scroll down and select the "Options" menu with the trackball.

Select "Security Options" from the menu.

Choose "General Settings." Disable password protection so no password is needed to access the phone when the screen locks. Disable locking on the phone.

Select "Application Permissions" from the "Options" list. You should see a list of available applications to edit the permissions. Select an application, press the BlackBerry button, and then select to "Edit Permissions." A new window will appear. Select to "Allow" everything. Go back to the list of applications and do the same for each.

Select "Firewall" on the "Options" list. Disable the firewall protection on your phone.
