How to Fold a Puja Table

The Tibetan puja table is often used as a prayer table. These tables are designed so that they can be conveniently folded and transported with ease. Many manufacturers of puja tables incorporate intricate details, designs and carvings. Learning the straightforward technique used to fold such a table will make it a very simple and valuable addition to your spiritual life.

Instructions

1. Gently place the table on its side or facedown. This will take the pressure off the legs so they can be folded in.

2. Tuck both of the ends of the table in toward the middle. These should tuck down and fold easily against the underside of the tabletop.

3. Fold the front of the table in toward the middle as well. This part of the table will lie against the folded legs and keep them in place. When these three pieces are folded in the table becomes very compact and is ready to be moved to any place you wish to take it.
