How to Erase Data from a CD Disk

One of the most useful storage drives available to consumers is the CD-RW drive. Like the CD-R disk, the CD-RW disk is capable of having several files burned to it. Unlike the CD-R, however, the CD-RW can also be set up to be edited, meaning that after the initial burn you can also edit the files within the CD, add additional files and move them around. You can also delete files as well to start over.

Right-click on the icon for your CD writer and click "Open" on the menu that appears in order to access the CD contents.
