1
Move products in all of your retail displays to the eye level of their target audience. If your product is targeted for children, then move it lower in your display, and if it is intended for adults, then move it higher.
-
2
Offer options for products, where applicable. For example, if your display is showing a particular style of shirt, then be sure to show as many color options as possible in the display to show customers they have choices.

3
Include informational signs with your displays. Make sure your signs give concise descriptions of the product and its location in the store. If there are accessories for the product that your store sells, then include a brief list of the available accessories as well. If possible, include those accessories in the display.
-
4
Analyze the lighting in your display case and alter it accordingly. Do not allow lighting to create a glare on a display case's glass cover. Make sure the light is shining on the product and not highlighting an empty part of the display case. Experiment with different colors of background lighting until you find one that makes the product stand out better. For displays located in the store itself, use track lighting as a way to spotlight the displays. Experiment with lighting colors to see if one color allows the displays to stand out more than others. Rope lighting can be used as an outline to a display and to draw attention to it.

5
Change the display in your cases at least once every two weeks, even if it is displaying the same products. Your displays can seem more interesting and dynamic if they are changed regularly.
