How to Apply Mac Eye Shadows

One of MAC's most know type of makeup is their eyeshadow. With an array of colors to choose from and plenty of different kinds of eyeshadows (paint, liquid, pressed powder loose powder, etc.), there is certain a color for anyone. Apply MAC eyeshadow is simple and quick with the use of their own MAC brushes.

Things You'll Need

• MAC eyeshadow
• MAC 213 Fluff Brush
• MAC eyeshadow for shading
• MAC 222 Tapered Blending Brush
• MAC 239 Eye Shader Brush

Instructions

1. Rub the MAC eyeshadow lightly with the Fluff Brush.

2. Apply the eyeshadow to each eyelid, by stroking the brush from the inside corner of the eye to the outside.

3. Rub the MAC eyeshadow for shading (a shade or two darker than the original eyeshadow) with the Tapered Blending Brush.

4. Stroke the outer corners of each eyelid with the shading eyeshadow. You can extend this color slightly onto your brow bone.

5. Blend, lightly, the two colors at the crease of the lid together to get a blended look. Add any finishing touches, like mascara or brow shadow, to complete the look.
