How to Find My House Online From a Map

Google has provided us with a way to look at satellite images from all over the world. You can actually go sightseeing right from your desktop, without ever leaving your chair. With the use of Google Maps, you can look at the house in which you grew up, where your parents grew up, and even the house you live in now.

Instructions

1. Point your Internet browser to maps.google.com.

2. Type the address of your house into the searchbox and click "Search Maps." A new page will appear with a satellite map of the area where your house is located. If the image is a standard map, click on "Satellite" in the upper right corner of the map.

3. Use the slider on the left side of the satellite map to zoom in until you can see your house.
