In most cases, it's fairly easy to remove a CD from the system; however, if you can't remove it or you fear damaging the CD player, it may be best to take the player to an audio shop and have someone help you remove the CD.

Use a paper clip to elect the CD manually. Most CD players have a small paper clip-sized hole directly underneath the opening where you insert the CD. Insert the paper clip into this hole and plus gently. This should eject the CD even if the player is damaged. If this approach doesn't work, try Step 2.

Grab the CD with needle-nosed pliers. Grasp the edge of the CD inside the player the pliers and pull gently. If you can get a grasp, this should work to remove any CD that won't come out using the paper-clip method. Using pliers may damage the CD, so be careful--or be willing to replace the CD. If this doesn't work, try the approach in Step 3.

Unscrew the CD player with a screwdriver. Remove the CD player from the dashboard of the car, if possible. Unscrew any screws on the top or bottom of the player and pull the CD player apart. You should now be able to remove the CD. Place the CD player back together and screw it back together.
