How to Delete Yahoo Pop Up History

If Yahoo! is a part of your Internet service provider (ISP) then there is an installed pop-up blocker that will block pop-ups that may show up when you go to a new website. The pop-up blocker keeps a history of these websites and you can see them at any time when your pop-up blocker is enabled. You can manually view the pop-ups that were blocked and then allow ones that you don't want to be blocked anymore. Also, you can delete the history if you have a large list of pop-ups in your history.

Instructions

    • 1

Log into your Yahoo! account or ISP that uses Yahoo! as its main homepage. Click on the "Tools" option from the top toolbar once you are signed in.

    • 2

Scroll over the "Pop-Up Blocker" option and make sure the "Enable Pop-Up Blocker" option is checked. If it's not checked then you won't have any pop-up history.

    • 3

Click on the "Show History" option. You will then see a pop-up the shows all of the websites that have been blocked. Review your pop-up history to determine which websites you want to delete.

    • 4

Click on the Web address of the blocked pop-up and then click on the "View" button to see the website. Go back to the web address that is blocked after making sure that you don't want the website blocked, and then click on the "Allow" button. This will also take the web address off of your pop-up history.

    • 5

Right-click on any address and then click on the "Delete" option to remove it from your history. However, if you don't click on the "Allow" button then the website will continue to be blocked in the future.

    • 6

Click on the "Close" button once you're done and then try going to that website to make sure that it is no longer blocked. The only websites that will now go into your pop-up history are pop-ups that you haven't allowed to appear.
