How to Remove the Ignition Switch From a Beretta
The ignition switch on your Beretta is held in place with screws, as opposed to a retaining pin. The ignition should give you many years of trouble-free performance but when the switch finally dies, you will need to replace it with a new switch. You can purchase a new ignition switch from an auto parts store or from the Chevy division of General Motors. If you have a tilt steering wheel option, you must take it to the dealership because special, proprietary, tools that are not available to the home mechanic are required to remove the pivot pins in the tilt steering wheel. Removal of these pins is necessary to access the ignition switch.
